There once was a place

There was once a place full of joy

Joy full of power and light

The darkness was not there

The light was so great, like a star full of energy

But in age; cycles of light and greatness, there was a force soon to be shown

Just as darkness incases the rays of light from the fiery masses and stars implode into black holes. A story from which the universe unveils was about to be told

Once

Once, when they gathered in the light, the darkness appeared to them

Come with me said the darkness

The light is dimming

The light is dull says the darkness

The light is soon to end

Come with me

I will show you comfort

I will show you comfort in the darkness

Follow me and your light will be no more for darkness will be your new savior

You will bask in my glory for I am the god of you now

Then there was silence

Then there was silence across the land

The land was among the new god

The god of the darkness

For even though light still shined upon us, we were the dark

And when the light dimmed we had no light of ourselves for we were the shadows

We were the angels that once took an oath to the darkness

For we were told great things come from the darkness
and that our light was nothing

We were lied to

We believed these lies

Now

Now that we are here

Here to be with the darkness

The truth is now our lie

The truth is now our discomfort

The truth is now our boredom and our embarrassment

And our lie is our comfort

Our lie is our indulgence

Our lie is our selfishness

We were once part of the light

The light was once part of us

Now we must dread along in our lies and our comfort for we are the kings and queens of our darkness

For we have no memory of the light

We have no memory of the light because the light was stripped from us

For the light was a gift

The light was a gift from the all knowing

The all knowing is the beginning and the end

The all knowing is the light, the light that we compromised

As our darkness hails us we have been given a code

We have been given the truth

But the truth must be found within our darkness

The truth is the light but from the darkness, the light is our embarrassment and our discomfort for we have been born into darkness and know nothing else

This

This is what the light wanted

For we must seek the light on our own without knowledge of it

We must overcome our darkness by seeking the embarrassment of the light

By seeking it in all of our discomfort

For seeking the light from the darkness is like a vampire seeking the sun

This is the only way back to the light

The light

The light has appointed the darkness as its mule to carry the burden of compromise

The darkness has been appointed by the light to carry out this lie

For the lie is the obstacle

The lie and the darkness is the only path back to the light

For even the darkness was once part of the light

The light is sacred and must be held only for those humble enough to seek it in the darkness

So you must come

You must seek the light

We are still the dark until we can be made free from our shadow

For this life is our one chance

This is your chance to make this decision

A decision to come back to the light

For this is the only real truth in this land

and knowing the real truth among the darkness will make you great

and you will hold the promise of the light until you reach it again

Listen to me

For I am the all knowing
